UTLA educators are organizing Welcome Back to School actions across Los Angeles public schools to celebrate students, families, and our communities as we begin the new school year. We want to send a clear message to everyone: together, we will ensure that schools are safe and welcoming spaces for all.

We are committing to:

• Creating a welcoming environment for all families

• Keeping kids safe

• Standing up against ICE and anybody trying to separate children from their families

• Lifting up & protecting our Black, Asian, Latine, Indigenous, Immigrant, and LGBTQIA+ communities

When T-Mobile launches its “T-Satellite” program this July, Musk stands to gain billions. That means that T-Mobile is funding Elon Musk’s attacks on democracy and his support of far-right authoritarian governments around the world. We’re calling on T-Mobile CEO Mike Sievert and the company’s Board of Directors to live up to its promise to be “a greater force for good” and stop financing Musk’s far-right politics.
